The Pinnacle Corporation Embeds MicroStrategy’s Reporting Technology in its Enterprise Performance Management Retail Solution

MicroStrategy® Incorporated (NASDAQ: MSTR), a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software, today announced that The Pinnacle Corporation has entered into an OEM agreement with MicroStrategy to embed MicroStrategy technology into its Enterprise Performance Management(TM) (EPM) business intelligence solution. EPM is a modular set of tools designed for the convenience store and fuel industries to enable them to better manage their business from a strategic, tactical, and operational perspective.
Using MicroStrategy, Pinnacle’s EPM solution provides retailers with access to their POS systems’ transaction data to report on merchandise and fuel sales, monitor loss prevention, and optimize store operations. MicroStrategy’s flexible reporting and analysis tools provide Pinnacle’s retail clients with intuitive, Web-based access to critical data and the ability to drill down to individual transactions for greater clarity and insights. In addition, Pinnacle’s clients can broadcast events, alerts, and notifications to field personnel who can promptly take action.
